Exposition Park Rose Garden!

Exposition Park Rose Garden
What is it? The Exposition Park Rose Garden has been operated by the Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation since 1928 and serves as a great venue for weddings, photo shoots, and filming!
What makes it beautiful? This garden is the best place to relax on a lazy afternoon. Why? Well, you can’t stop anywhere without smelling the roses! And there are so many roses in shades of red, pink, white, and yellow, and all sorts of mixes and marbleizations! When you walk through this garden, it is in a sea of color that crests high overhead! I’ve sat in the shade of the gazebo and watched hummingbirds flit back and forth, observed caterpillars munching away at the milkweed between the flowers, and even peered at the ghetto birds that fly overhead sporadically! All in all, this is a very meditative place in the heart of the “sketchy” part of LA!
