The Sundial Bridge!

Sundial Bridge
What is it? The Sundial Bridge is the centerpiece of Redding, California, designed by Santiago Calatrava to resemble a wild goose in flight!
What makes it beautiful? This is a very elegant bridge! It’s built without a single support in the water, to avoid disrupting the salmon, so even though it weighs 1,600 tons, it seems to float on air! Its whiteness gives it the sense of being a sculpted work of art, and because it’s strictly a pedestrian and biker bridge, it maintains its serene atmosphere at all times of day!

Did you know that this bridge has a doppelganger in Buenos Aires called Puente de la Mujer? It was also built by Santiago Calatrava!
