Fairview Inn!

Fairview Inn
What is it? The historic Fairview Inn is still open!
What makes it historical? This hotel opened in 1923 to serve folks traveling aboard the Alaskan Railroad! It rose to notoriety after President Warren G. Harding had lunch here, then died of a heart attack a few days later in San Francisco! (Probably not related!)
How can I Help the Helpers? HERE’S HOW:

  • Spend the night here!
  • Become a member of Talkeetna Historical Society!
  • Be a responsible visitor! Please respect the signs and pathways, and treat all structures and artifacts with respect. They’ve endured a lot to survive into the present. They’ll need our help to make it into the future!
