Scotts Bluff County Courthouse!

Scotts Bluff County Courthouse
What is it? The historic courthouse of Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska!
What makes it historical? After Scotts Bluff County split away from Cheyenne County in 1888, it set to work building its first courthouse, which was completed in 1891. This courthouse did the job, but it wasn’t all that popular, so in 1921, a new courthouse was put in to administer to the legal needs of the residents of Scotts Bluff County! The new courthouse was built in the County Citadel architectural style, which is unusual for having features like a centered entrance, expensive building materials, fireproof storage, and Neoclassical Revivalist ornamentation!
