This year’s 2011 Halloween Pumpkin design is a Venus’ flytrap preparing to eat an unsuspecting fly! I think Venus’ flytraps are the scariest members of the plant kingdom! I mean, this is a carnivorous plant! Say you’re an average fly, minding your own business, and then suddenly, the leaf you’ve chosen as a resting place snaps shut on you and slowly digests you alive while you buzz-buzz for help! That’s a fitting image for this time of year. Happy Halloween!
