What is it? |
The Willow Creek – China Flat Museum tells the history of the local tribes of the area and also houses the world’s largest Bigfoot exhibit! |
What makes it historical? |
Willow Creek is the self-proclaimed Gateway to Bigfoot Country! Located just down the Bigfoot Scenic Highway from Bluff Creek, where the famous Patterson-Gimlin film was shot (you’ve seen it; I promise), this museum houses an astounding collection of footprint casts, dioramas, and even a timeline of Bigfoot’s history as we know it! This is the place where you’ll not only learn about Bigfoot from the exhibitions, but you’ll also learn how the local Hupa tribe considers Bigfoot a nuisance for stealing their apples! If you take the opportunity to step into Bigfoot Country and take in the majesty that houses one of the last big American mysteries, I can guarantee you’ll be astounded. |
