My 2012 Halloween Pumpkin design slithered out of centuries of mysticism! Since the Mayan calendar ended this year, many folks predicted that 2012 would bring at least a huge shift of consciousness and at worst, the end of the world! With that in mind, I decided to carve up an Ourobouros! This dragon originated in ancient Egypt and symbolizes the eternal cycle of life by eating its own tail! Pretty fitting for an important year, don’t you think? Happy Halloween!
