Mountain Home!

Mountain House
Landmark #589 Kern County Visited: January 21, 2013 Plaque?  YES! 🙂
What is it? A plaque by the side of the road!
What makes it historical? THE GUIDE SAYS: One and one-half miles north of this point stood the Mountain House Station on the route of the Butterfield Stage.
