What is it? |
Glass Beach #1 is one of three beaches in Fort Bragg littered with polished sea glass pieces left over from early 20th-century garbage dumps! |
What makes it beautiful? |
The tiny red, white, and green gems are pretty spectacular in the sunshine, so spectacular that Glass Beach is being picked clean! No one knows for sure how long it will take to be depleted of its historic sea glass, but once it is picked clean, the rocky crags lining the breakers will still keep this beach beautiful! |
