What is it? |
The Frank G. Bloom House is a stunning mansion that is now part of the Trinidad History Museum! |
What makes it historical? |
Frank G. Bloom owned the Bloom Land and Cattle Company, which was headquartered here in Trinidad, Colorado. Exemplifying the “Elegant Eighties,” Mr. Bloom arranged for his home to be built out of a blend of Victorian, French, and rococo styles with three stories and 15 rooms! Today, the mansion’s garden also preserves rose varieties that haven’t been widely grown since the turn of the century! |
How can I Help the Helpers? |
HERE’S HOW:
- Pay the entrance fee to help maintain trails, signs, structures, and other visitor services!
- Volunteer with History Colorado!
- Donate to History Colorado!
- Be a responsible visitor! Please respect the signs and pathways, and treat all structures and artifacts with respect. They’ve endured a lot to survive into the present. They’ll need our help to make it into the future!
