Jasper Firehall!

Jasper Firehall

What Is Jasper Firehall?

This is still the historic firehall of Jasper, Alberta!

What Makes It Historical?

Modeled in the same rustic style as the Jasper Information Centre, this Queen Anne fire hall was designed in 1936 by the Architectural Division of National Parks! It was meant to expand on the overall sense of environmental harmony in the growing town, even as a standard municipal building! Today, it still operates as a base for fighing fires, park communications, and the Jasper Art Guild!

How Can I #HelpTheHelpers?

  • Volunteer with the Parks Canada!
  • Donate to the Friends of Jasper National Park!
  • Be a responsible visitor! Please respect the signs and pathways, and treat all structures and artifacts with respect. They’ve endured a lot to survive into the present. They’ll need our help to make it into the future!

How Do I Get There?

414 Patricia St
Jasper, AB T0E 1E0
(Take Me There!)

When Should I Visit?

Visit the outside any time you like, but the building isn’t open for public tours!
