So many wild adventures happened in 2025 that you might call it in-tents! I spent a week sleeping in a tent in Katmai National Preserve, where the sun barely set, and a night in total darkness up Pierce Mountain in North Cascades National Park. In the woods, you can never know for sure what’s casting shadows on the outside of your tent, so I wanted my 2025 Halloween Pumpkin to convey as much of that which could be carved!
