What is it? |
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument protects the blast zone surrounding a volcano with a rose-colored top! |
What makes it beautiful? |
This is a desolate place in the shadow of a volcano! The deep blackness of its destruction can be found from the jagged boulders down to the finest deep, dark sand! But out of all of this darkness, the rosy peak of the sunset crater rises into the sky. It’s really lovely to behold! |
