Four Corners Monument is a plaza surrounded by Navajo artisans, where you can hop between the four states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah! |
| What makes it historical? |
When first picked out by government surveyors in 1912, the year Arizona and New Mexico became states and completed the four corners, this was just a basic cement pad. During restoration in 1922, that pad became a bronze disk, which became a plaza, which became a hot spot for Navajo artisans and the tourists who love a sale and a selfie! This is the only spot in the United States where the corners of four states touch at the same point! |

From June though September, the monument is open daily from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM, and for the rest of the year, it’s open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM! |
