What is it? | The remaining foundations of the Mission San Buenaventura aqueduct and reservoir system! |
What makes it historical? | THE GUIDE SAYS: Part of the mission water system for Mission San Buenaventura, this was the settling tank or receiving reservoir from which water was distributed to the church and to the few Spanish families who lived near the mission.

When should I go? | You can visit the reservoir whenever you like, but the museum, if it ever opens again, will be open from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on weekdays, until 4:00 PM on weekends! |
This is the first of two reservoirs. The second, much larger reservoir is in the alley behind the mission.
