What is it? |
The Musical Instrument Museum houses an enormous assortment of musical instruments and recordings from all around the world! |
What makes it historical? |
When I first visited the Musical Instrument Museum, I expected a bunch of stuffy old instruments, at least until I put on the headphones. This museum is truly state-of-the-art. You walk up to each exhibit, and music immediately starts playing, sometimes with video! It’s amazing how many different pipes, drums and strings there are in the world, but what makes this place truly wonderful is that it is devoted to the universal language! There is something in this museum that everyone can relate to, both the adventurer and the close-to-home sort! Just try to visit this place and walk away not wanting to try a new instrument, especially after you’ve gone hands-on in the Experience Gallery! |
