| What is it? | A house where once stood an incredible landscaped display of cement and shells! |
| What makes it historical? | THE GUIDE SAYS: The late John Guidici, a retired gardener, began landscaping his Menlo Park house in 1932, using mostly cement, local sand, and the shells that were available free at local beaches.
OTHER TIDBITS: It was the drowning of his young son that set Mr. Guidici in motion, as sad a story as the ultimate destruction of this site! |
