What Is Indiana Dunes National Park?
Indiana Dunes National Park protects sensitive dune habitats along the southern shore of Lake Michigan!
What Makes It Beautiful?
Indiana Dunes is a subtly beautiful park with brilliant green woodlands and tiny wonders like the carnivorous purple pitcher plants! These woodlands turn into sweeping lakeside dunes with unique, native plants, some of which have lovely flowers in the spring! If you’re lucky on a cloudy day, you may find yourself all alone in the kind of solitude that’s hard to find on a beach anywhere else!
