What Is Mount Rainier National Park?
America’s fourth national park centers around Tahoma, an ancient stratovolcano, and its surrounding wilderness!
What Makes It Beautiful?
Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the continental USA, giving it a real sense of remoteness and mystery, even though lots of folks visit the park each year. It’s abundant with wildflower-rich meadows and burbling streams, not to mention roaring rivers and waterfalls! Each corner of the park offers a unique perspective on the mighty mountain known as Tahoma, from distant lakeside looks to the taste of tangy delicious huckleberries growing in Tahoma’s rich soil. Take a hike or camp out, and enjoy everything this exceptional national park offers!
