Utah’s Historical Landmark program is split between two organizations: the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and the Pioneer Trails and Landmarks Association, who have done a very thorough job of maintaining their plaques! Their focus is to commemorate the state’s development from the arrival of the first Mormon pioneers in 1847!
