Beavers are all about building, and within that all-consuming purpose is the building of ties. Our holidays, as taught to me by my mother, are designed to maintain the ties among members of families and the greater community, and to celebrate the bounty of life! There are three, which occur seasonally: Firstbud, Lastleaf, and Solstice, but for the sake of my own celebrations, I’m including my birthday here too!
