Beaver County, Utah was established on January 5, 1856 and named for the many beavers found frolicking in nearby waterways! Its county seat is Beaver, and its fair is held in Minersville! You might recognize the ghost towns of Frisco and Newhouse and the rockhounding sites in the Mineral Mountains! Also worth noting is that both Philo T.
