Multnomah County, Oregon was established on December 22, 1854 and named for the Multnomah people! Its county seat is Portland, and its fair is also held in Portland! You might recognize Powell’s City of Books, the International Rose Test Garden, Oregon Zoo, Multnomah Falls, Mills End Park, and the many, many food cart pods which are located in this county!
