Yuba County, California was established on February 18, 1850 and named either for the wild grapes (uvas) growing along the Yuba River or a Native American village called Juba where the Feather and Yuba Rivers meet! Its county seat is Marysville, and its fair is held in Yuba City and shared with Sutter County! You might recognize the Bok Kai Temple, Hart Building, Oregon House, and Sweet Vengeance Mine, which are located in this county!
