Volunteer with the Marine Mammal Center!

The Marine Mammal Center
What is it? The Marine Mammal Center rescues and rehabilitates seals, sea lions, whales, dolphins, and even sea turtles!
What makes it wonderful? The Marine Mammal Center has rescued and rehabilitated over 18,000 animals since they opened in 1975! While healing their patients, they not only learn from them about the current state of the ocean, but also have an extensive education program designed to teach people how to care for their oceans! Oceans are important for everyone! They cover 70% of the earth after all!

I was lucky enough to meet two of their patients, Bell and Clock Oso, who were on their way to release at Santa Rosa Island, happy and healthy after their brush with death last year!
