What is it? The reconstructed Eagle Theatre!
What makes it historical? THE GUIDE SAYS: This is the site of the first building in California constructed as a theater in 1849. The theater was reconstructed in 1974.

OTHER TIDBITS: This poor theatre only operated for three months before it was destroyed by a flood on January 4, 1850! Today, it is an information house for docents of the California Railroad Museum!
