What is it? A bank built that was once the home of Daniel Hill and Rafaela Ortega y Olivera!
What makes it historical? THE GUIDE SAYS: Daniel Hill of Massachusetts built this adobe about 1825 for his bride, Rafaela L. Ortega y Olivera. She was the granddaughter of José Francisco Ortega, founder and first commandante of the Royal Presidio of Santa Barbara.

OTHER TIDBITS: This landmark is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places!
