Anza Expedition Camp, Burlingame!

Anza Expedition Camp, Burlingame
Landmark #48 San Mateo County Visited: November 16, 2013 Plaque?  NO. 🙁
What is it? Nothing! Nothing but an intersection and the assurance that something was once here!
What makes it historical? THE GUIDE SAYS: The Anza Expedition of 1776, on its way up the peninsula to locate sites for the Presidio and Mission of San Francisco, camped here on March 26 at a dry watercourse a short league beyond Arroyo de San Mateo.

OTHER TIDBITS: That pretty well sums it up!
