Landmark #610 | Sacramento County | Visited: March 22, 2015 | Plaque? NO. 🙁 |
What is it? | Nothing but a parking structure! |
What makes it historical? | THE GUIDE SAYS: This building was constructed in 1852 and was occupied in the 1850s by various state offices and commercial companies.
OTHER TIDBITS: Unfortunately, I can’t find any other information on the Overton building, other than the fact that it was flattened to make room for the I-5 freeway, which, for some reason, needed to go directly through Old Sacramento! |
