This park was founded in 1901 under the supervision of Colonel Jame Randlette, the administrator of the Indian Agency in Anadarko! More than just a scenic park, it was home to a hydroelectric power plant, municipal pool, and croquet court. In the time since Oklahoma became a state, the park now has playgrounds, walking paths, an RV campground, and a flock of peafowl who live by the river! |
