What Is Theodore Roosevelt National Park?
Theodore Roosevelt National Park preserves the badland landscapes surrounding the 25th president’s old ranch!
What Makes It Beautiful?
Start with the geological splendor of this 2-part park! Rugged and remote, this area rolls with hills striped with many-colored minerals, reds, yellows, and blacks. See the home where the buffalo roam! Hear the chorus of whistling prairie dogs in towns that stretch across the horizon! Hike along time-sharpened cliff and feel the power of coal veins that have burned for almost 30 years straight! Or kick back and enjoy one of the less visited national parks, where there’s a great deal of un-plowed, un-grazed prairie with plenty of flowers ready to bloom in the springtime!
