Its capital is Montpelier, and its largest city is Burlington! Vermont’s state motto is “Freedom and Unity!” This state is famous for its ski resorts, teddy bears, and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, not to mention the monster of Lake Champlain, birthplace of Joseph Smith, and the Ethan Allen Homestead!
