Sandoval County, New Mexico was established in 1903 and named for the Sandoval family, who owned a lot of land here! Its county seat is Bernalillo, and its fair is held in Cuba (the town, not the country)! You might recognize Bandelier National Monument, Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument (BLM), and the Puye Ruins, which are located in this county!
