What is it? A plaque and wagon wheel marking the path of Mormon pioneers into the San Bernardino Valley!
What makes it historical? THE GUIDE SAYS: In June 1851, 500 Mormon pioneers came through this pass to enter the San Bernardino Valley, where they established a prosperous community.

OTHER TIDBITS: There are lots of other landmarks telling their story, like Santa Fe-Salt Lake Trail Monument, Stoddard-Waite Monument, Sycamore Grove, and Mormon Stockade, so this pretty well sums it up!
