San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park

What Is San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park?

San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park is a collection of historic ships, whose importance to Pacific Maritime History is not to be understated!

What Makes It Beautiful?

All the boats are beautifully painted, but what I love most is a good sailing vessel. I love the elegant stern, the high mast, and the many ropes that hoist and maneuver the great, billowing sails. Even though the Balclutha wasn’t moving, I still felt an exhilarating sense of freedom when I stood on her deck!
