Cadillac Ranch!

Cadillac Ranch
What is it? Cadillac Ranch is a row of 10 vintage Cadillac cars half buried in the Texas mud!
What makes it wonderful? When it was originally designed in 1974, Cadillac Ranch was a celebration of how Cadillac tail fins had evolved between 1949 and 1963. It was designed by an art group called The Ant Farm and funded by a local billionaire named Stanley Marsh III, who mostly just wanted to pull one over on the locals.

As happens with works of art left to the public, these Cadillacs slowly started to get defaced by passers-by over the years. Unlike works of art meant to stay the same forever, though, this site is now an intentional graffiti destination with its colors and designs changing every single day thanks to visitors from around the world!

Cadillac Ranch is both a common meeting place for world travelers and a place that is different for everyone who visits! It’s so popular that it’s even spawned copycats like Slug Bug Ranch, Combine City, and maybe even Carhenge!
