For my 2020 Halloween Pumpkin, I had lots of scary ideas to choose from. There were invasions, riots, massive wildfires, political infighting—gasp—and, oh yeah, a global pandemic! This year, I grew two pumpkins, which gave me the perfect opportunity to show off the spookiest part of 2020: the novel coronavirus and someone who didn’t know how to wear their mask properly! Today in Los Angeles, there were 1,326 new cases of COVID-19 and 15 deaths! There will probably be another spike after Halloween, so stay safe and healthy out there, folks! Happy Halloween nonetheless!
