What Makes It Historical?
This was the first store built in the community of Vashon, around 1890, and it’s the last standing building from that time! Frank Gorsuch was the first to operate the store, getting supplies shipped in via Vashon Landing a mile to the east. It would go on to change hands nine times between then and 2019, picking up its now distinct Moderne style storefront in 1935 under the supervision of A. C. Harrington! Since 2005, it’s been a restaurant with the slogan “Today’s special… so is tomorrow!”

When Should I Visit?
The restaurant is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM, on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM!
