Its capital is Harrisburg, and its largest city is Philadelphia! Pennsylvania’s state motto is “Virtue, Liberty and Independence!” This state is famous as the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution, home of the Liberty Bell, and site of the Battle of Gettysburg and Washington’s rough winter at Valley Forge!
